The Jewish Investor Network (JIN) is an independent Jewish institution that brings together investors who are committed to human rights, systemic justice, and collective action.
Part of a long lineage of Jewish collective economic action for social justice, JIN is a peer network where members explore how we are integrating Jewish values into our decision making, practices, and strategies—from contesting corporate harms to investing in a world where all beings flourish.
JIN’s Values
The Jewish Investor Network is grounded in our Jewish values. For some of us that may be based on religious or secular Jewish teachings, for others the legacy of Jewish fights for justice and liberation across history and geographies. We stand for, and strive to act upon, these principles:
Universal Human Rights: We are unwavering in our support for the equity and dignity of all people. We oppose occupation, apartheid, and genocide.
Solidarity and Interconnection: We understand the interconnectedness between movements for justice and liberation worldwide and act in solidarity across struggles.
Practice of Restoration and Repair: We understand the legacies of harm inflicted on poor and working communities through extractive practices based on racial oppression and white supremacy. We strive to practice restoration and repair, as embodied in the concept of teshuvah, through our investments and collective action.
Aligning Capital With Values: We invest, leverage, and organize to align capital with liberatory, non-extractive practices as a manifestation of our values and our accountability to movements for justice and liberation.
