New Jewish Investor Network Launches With Commitment to Universal Human Rights, Equity, and Solidarity
The Jewish Investor Network (JIN) has launched to build a Jewish values-aligned investor community for social justice and invites members for collective economic action.
United States, APRIL 21, 2026 - The Jewish Investor Network (JIN) has launched as a new independent Jewish institution bringing together investors committed to human rights, systemic justice, and collective action. Part of a long lineage of Jewish collective economic action for social justice, JIN aims to activate the collective power of Jewish investors — from contesting corporate harms to investing in a world where all beings flourish. This new community will broaden Jewish representation in investor spaces and build a bold Jewish voice for human rights in the financial arena.
“JIN came together because there was not a Jewish community for values-aligned investors that clearly prioritized coordinated action towards liberation and equity for all,” says Kate Poole, co-founder of Chordata Capital: Investment with a Backbone.
“This is an opportunity to continue the Jewish community's long history as part of movements for economic justice. We can do so much more than just philanthropy — whether it’s through shareholder advocacy, values-aligning our portfolios, divestment, or collective organizing,” said JIN member Deborah Sagner, President of The Sagner Family Foundation and Founder of Funding Freedom.
JIN already has a committed leadership team of 22 steering committee and advisory representatives, and a growing membership. JIN’s leadership and members represent investors and advocates from across US and international values-aligned investing, philanthropy, shareholder advocacy, and Jewish progressive movements. The Network is grounded in these key principles:
Universal Human Rights: We are unwavering in our support for the equity and dignity of all people. We oppose occupation, apartheid, and genocide.
Solidarity and Interconnection: We understand the interconnectedness between movements for justice and liberation worldwide and act in solidarity across struggles.
Practice of Restoration and Repair: We understand the legacies of harm inflicted on poor and working communities through extractive practices based on racial oppression and white supremacy. We strive to practice restoration and repair, as embodied in the concept of teshuvah, through our investments and collective action.
Aligning Capital With Values: We invest, leverage, and organize to align capital with liberatory, non-extractive practices as a manifestation of our values and our accountability to movements for justice and liberation.
“Faith-based investors were really the first leaders in values-driven shareholder advocacy since The Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) started over 50 years ago. I am excited for The Jewish Investor Network to have a voice in critical campaigns to change harmful corporate behavior and advocate alongside other Jewish investors,” says Rabbi Rachel Kahn-Troster, Executive Vice President of ICCR.
JIN invites interested investors to request more information through their website. To learn more about the Jewish Investor Network, visit here: https://www.jewishinvestornetwork.org/
